Allegro Friends

You are invited to join Allegro Friends and help us fulfill our mission to awaken lives through orchestras - for musicians and audience members of all ages. In order to continue to offer all of our programs to this community we need to raise $40,000 from individuals and businesses by June 30, 2008. Financial support from everyone we serve is vital to our mission: audience members, students, camp alumni, parents, and adult musicians. We provide accessibility to all our programs - free concerts, low camp tuition, camp scholarships, and no community orchestra dues charged to musicians. Our programs serve our mission, and programs cost money. What is the value of ALLEGRO to you? If your life has been touched by ALLEGRO, please consider a donation and help us reach our goal.

ALLEGRO operates three critical programs in order to fulfill our mission: Allegro Con Brio, a high level professional orchestra that performs innovative, non-traditional (& free beginning in 2008) concerts and is the orchestra-in-residence of the camp; Allegro Sinfonia, one of the country's finest community orchestras, which offers free concerts to the community (including family concerts) and provides adult musicians the opportunity to perform great orchestral literature throughout the year; and Allegro Orchestra Camp for young Twin Cities musicians in grades 3-12, which provides quality orchestra training by the area's leading professional musicians every summer.

Thousands of people's lives have been enriched by ALLEGRO over the years and we ask for your support as a person who believes in our mission. We operate on a very small budget relative to the value provided by all of the programs we offer, yet we cannot do it alone. It will take just a little help from our friends in the community to continue to provide for so many. Please consider joining ALLEGRO Friends with a gift of $1,000, $500, $250, $100 or $50 to help us reach our goal of $40,000 by June 30, 2008.

Gifts will be acknowledged in all concert programs during the 2007 - 2008 season, beginning in October. ALLEGRO is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
